Protective netting to protect against large pests and snowdrifts
MDB Texinov® has specifically developed the Protex netting range to protect crops against large pests (e.g. game, birds, rodents) and to cordon off areas prone to snow. This range has been specially designed to fence off or protect fruit and other crops, major roads, etc. Protex netting is made from 100% UV-stabilised polyethylene. The extremely resistant mesh serves as a veritable physical barrier to wildlife and snow.
The green colour of the Protex range allows it to blend in perfectly with its surroundings. There is also a version that is specifically designed to cordon off snow-prone areas. When used as a snow fence, the idea is to stabilise the snowpack in windy areas in order to prevent the formation of snowdrifts, for example on roadsides and ski areas.
